Installation view showing Stephanie Krimmel's "Net Positive 2" and "Playce", a collaboration with Amanda Triplett.

In this collaborative show, Amanda Triplett and Stephanie Krimmel consider transitional liminal spaces where ideas are born through creative play, and where new forms incubate, shift, grow and change. This collaboration creates an immersive and interactive experience of sculptural form in fiber, paper and mixed media, inviting visitors to become part of the creative process.
The show includes a souvenir shop, shop online!

Stephanie Krimmel, Tween, figures 1-15, 2025. Wall installation of 15 paper constructions, dimensions variable.
In animation, “tweening” refers to how a computer generates the in-between states between two defined keyframes. This version of “Tween” is a manual process where I’ve arranged fifteen flexible paper sculpture 'figures' specifically to show how the same form can progress from one shape to another.
It’s an example of something I find myself doing a lot in my art - combining digital and analog processes.

Stephanie Krimmel and Amanda Triplett, Playce and PIPO, 2025.
Amanda and I wanted to create an interactive refuge where visitors could play and experiment and collaborate. We also wanted a way to visualize this process. This inspired us to create Playce, a recycled fiber tent-like construction with seating and an exploration table inside, as well as PIPO (an acronym for Play In, Play Out), a kaliedoscope-like digital projection created from a live video feed from the table inside Playce. Visitors outside of Playce could manipulate the projection using a joystick.
Amanda Triplett is the primary artist for Playce, and Stephanie Krimmel is the primary artist for PIPO.
